Wedding Mania-Early AM Preview

No more speculations. Kate wore her hair half-up, half-down and did her own make-up so her groom would recognize her. She wore a borrowed Cartier tiara from the Queen and the required sleeves were made of lace. Her dress was designed by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen. Her bouquet was small white blooms (looked like Lily of the Valley) with the traditional sprig of  Myrtle. Another item of speculation, what color hat The Queen would be wearing....she wore all yellow.  Westminster Abbey looked amazing lined with tall trees.

I present thee, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

First glimpse confirmed: Tiara, hair down, and lace sleeves. Reminiscent of Grace Kelly. Her earrings were a gift from her parents.

The train was not too long, she looked stunning and Pippa her Maid of Honor looked great as well.

The groom chose Army Formal uniform of the Irish Guards with the blue sash showing his highest honor as Knight of the Order.

William mouthed, "You look beautiful" shortly after he saw his bride for the first time. William kept his back turned while she walked down the aisle, so he was the last person to see her.

During the vows and ring ceremony. No ring for William, and Kate did not say the word Obey.

The very happy Queen, or as William calls her, "Granny"

The Beckham's looked great and minimalist! Victoria who surprisingly is 7 months pregnant wore a blue boat neck tunic from her own AW11 collection, a Phillip Treacy hat, and very tall customized Louboutins. David looking dashing in Ralph Lauren and wearing his CBE (Commander of the British Empire) lapel.

Carole Middleton, the mother of the bride, looking stunning in a sky blue outfit designed by Catherine Walker, who was one of Princess Diana's favorite designers.

Leaving Westminster Abbey.

Such a great couple! This time tomorrow, Miss Kate will be Princess Catherine! I just love them!

'It was my way of making sure my mother didn't miss out on today, and the excitement and the fact that we're going to spend the rest of our lives together.'-Prince William (on proposing with his mother's ring).

Yellow

Yellow is a soothing color and can be somewhat of a neutral. When I was born, my mom chose yellow as my nursery since she didn't know if I was going to be a boy or a girl. See below some great inspirations I came across adding yellow in your life from amazing yellow print wallpapers, a yellow couch, or just a pop of yellow from an accessory. Today it's dreary in Atlanta, a little pop of yellow would brighten my day!
