Holiday Movie Homes

Since it is holiday movie time it is always fun to see the actual houses where the movies were filmed and CNBC featured some of these popular holiday movie homes. The most iconic to me is the Home Alone house in Winnetka in a suburb of Chicago which I featured in this post when it was listed for sale. Some movie "homes" were actually sets like the one from National Lampoons Christmas vacation.

Elf which was filmed in NYC features this Art Deco Upper West Condo overlooking Central Park was recently listed for $2.8 million for 3BR.

The Holiday...I love this movie. Above is Cameron Diaz's characters amazing 10,000 sf multi-million dollar San Marino mansion.

Bad Santa home filmed in West Hills, California is currently listed for $1 million. 

Christmas Story home is in Cleveland, Ohio and has now been transformed to a museum for the movie.

Miracle on 34th Street home is in Port Washington, NY is nearly the same today as it was almost 60 years ago.
